CARING FOR YOUR LASH EXTENSIONS

Your clients invest a pretty penny to have you create small works of art on their lashes, so help them get the most out of their lash extensions by teaching them how to properly care for them. We’ve done the work for you and compiled a list of easy-to-follow tips for you to pass on to your clients to help them care for their lash extensions!

Avoid Oil-Based Products

Oil-based products break down the adhesive and shorten the life of your lash extensions. To remove makeup, use makeup remover wipes as opposed to cotton balls or pads as they tend to stick to the lashes.

Hands Off Your Lashes

Resist the urge to touch your lashes and do not rub, pick, or pull at them to avoid damage to your natural lashes. Instead, use the new LASHBOMB Wand to comb them out and prevent any crisscrossing and to fix any out-turned lashes. Simply close one eye, place the wand on top of your lashes, then roll the wand over your lashes to keep them defined and fabulous.

No Mascara

Your lashes should look so amazing that you shouldn’t need to wear mascara anymore! Mascara can be hard to remove, especially waterproof mascara, making it hard on your lashes. Mascara also clumps the lashes together and it becomes almost impossible to get it off without pulling out several of your extensions.

Use A Sealer

A great eyelash sealer will help strengthen the bond between your natural lashes and the eyelash extensions. LASHBOMB’s Crystal Sealer has patented Keratin technology that binds and plumps lashes from the inside out. You’ll see stronger, more flexible, curled extensions that look better longer. LASHBOMB also offers a Black Crystal Sealer for those that prefer a mascara effect.

Try To Sleep On Your Back

It can take about 24 hours for the adhesive to fully dry and set, so try to sleep on your back for the first night after getting your lash extensions done or filled to avoid any weird kinks or some of your extensions from coming off while you sleep. Also, avoid getting them wet for the first 24 hours.

Utilizing these tips will help your clients to keep their lashes looking great for longer and squeeze a little more time in between lash fills. Passing on this information will make your clients feel like you care and appreciate their time and money, making them appreciate you and keep them coming back!
